How we count
A company counts once, however many ads it runs and however many vacancies each ad carries, and it counts only while it is an active Swedish company. Staffing agencies are included because they are hiring on someone's behalf; they show up plainly in the industry table below, where you can subtract them if your segment excludes them. AngelEQ refreshes hiring activity every week; this page is regenerated at every stats round and carries the date of its figures.
Behind the current count sits 4,470,750 job ads across all years, which is what lets AngelEQ show a company's hiring history, not just the ad that is live today.
By county
The three largest counties, Stockholm, Västra Götaland and Skåne, hold 6,852 of the 10,932 hiring companies. The rest is more spread out than most sales teams assume, which is exactly why a county filter on hiring activity earns its place.
